Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP)
America's Job Bank Ceased Operations July 1, 2007
The Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regulations require covered Federal contractors and subcontractors to make job postings available to the appropriate local employment service office. Use of America's Job Bank (AJB) satisfied these requirements, but AJB ceased operations on July 1, 2007.
Our OFCCP Products and Services Provide a Replacement to AJB
All jobs posted on our Web sites are also automatically sent to local employment service offices (to the appropriate state workforce offices). This value-added service is available at no additional cost to our customers and makes complying with the OFCCP regulations seamless, easy and transparent.

"Internet Applicant" for employment. The final rule published on October 7, 2005 modified OFCCP applicant recordkeeping requirements to address challenges presented by the use of the Internet and electronic data technologies in contractors' recruiting and hiring processes.
Effective Date
The ruling was effective February 6, 2006; However, OFCCP provided a 90-day discretionary period following February 6, 2006, during which time they could choose not to cite a contractor for purely technical recordkeeping violations (more information).
